STP School Boosterthon Kicks Off

Once again, St. Peter’s School is hosting a two week boosterthon to raise funds for our STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), and to help kids learn about fitness, leadership, and character. Students will ask family and friends to sponsor them in St. Peter’s Glow Run to be held next Thursday, Sept. 12, right here at St. Peter’s. The boosterthon team will also work daily with students on problem solving and character building exercises. If you are interested in donating, contact your favorite STP student or click here.

Volunteers Needed for Children’s Liturgy of the Word

We are seeking adult and high-school aged volunteers to assist with our Children’s Liturgy of the Word ministry, offered during the school year at the Sunday 9 a.m. Mass for children ages 4 – 2nd grade.  After the opening prayer, the children are accompanied to the church basement, where they learn about the Gospel through fun activities. They return to the Mass prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Preparation for the lesson requires a few minutes perusing the  teacher’s guide and weekly activity book. Please email Megan Scheiderer at megan.scheiderer@huschblackwell.com. Volunteers must complete Protecting God’s Children training.
