If you are over the age of 21, the Knights need YOU as a bartender for the St. Peter's Knights of Columbus KC Irish Fest beer tent. The 2023 Kansas City Irish Fest is Friday, Sept 1-Sunday Sept 3 at Crown Center. As in years past, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, additional admission ticket and admission the day you volunteer. St. Peter's School is looking for caring, creative individuals to join our school staff. You could be part of an amazing team that provides an exceptional faith-based education to children preschool through 8th grade. We have openings for elementary and middle school teachers, as well as para-professionals and substitute teachers. Click for more info.

It’s time to update our database for the annual parish guide book & directory. Does St. Peter’s have the correct information for YOUR family? Please contact us with address changes, new phone numbers, new email addresses, and any changes to household members (new babies or grown children who no longer reside in the home.)

We have reached the midpoint of summer and are beginning to run low on food pantry staples and other items.   We’ve also recently partnered with our neighbor, The Children’s Place, providing them with food items that are sent home with students in special weekend backpacks. Any items that we provided to The Children’s Place  MUST be Peanut and Nut free as many of the children have peanut allergies/sensitivities. Click for a list of most-needed items.

Donate at our next Blood Drive-Sunday, July 16, 9am-3pm in the McKay Center- and get a free Royals shirt! (While supplies last).

Please get these dates on your calendar for two of our favorite fall events! The Holey Hooley Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 6 at Swope Memorial Golf Course. The next luncheon for St. Peter's seniors is Thursday, July 27th in the narthex. Appetizers will be served at 11:30am, and lunch at noon. Bring a friend!
