Liturgical Ministries

Lay ministers are an essential part of every liturgy; our liturgical ministries involve sharing your gifts in our worship and parish services. See below for an overview of the opportunities available, and contact our Director of Music and Liturgy to learn more and get involved.

The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered during the 9 a.m. Sunday Masses during the school year for children age 4 until receipt of First Communion. Led by adult volunteers, children leave the Sunday assembly during the Liturgy of the Word to learn about the gospel and readings with activities appropriate for their level of understanding. They return prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Adult volunteers must complete the “Protecting God’s Children program and have a background check.
