“Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.”
~Catholic Catechism (2223)
We understand that raising your children in the Catholic faith is a great responsibility, and we are here to help.
The Family Faith Formation program is focused on supporting your family on its faith journey. It is available to all families with children PreK-6th grade and provides a way for parents to participate with their children as they learn about the Catholic faith.
Our Family Faith Formation program is taking the place of our previous School of Religion programming and is required for families with 2nd graders who will be seeking the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion but do not attend St. Peter's School. However, all families, whether they attend St. Peter's School or not, are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
When you enroll your family in Faith Formation and Sacrament Preparation classes at St. Peter's your entire family participates together. Parents will receive support to help their family grow in understanding of our faith, build their domestic church, and live a Sacramental life.
The Family Faith Formation program runs October-May; the registration deadline is August 15. Please click below for more details and to register, and contact Director of Faith Formation H Dorian with questions. 816-800-0108.
