St. Peter's Giving Tree Program
Every year, we provide food, gift cards and sticking stuffers bags to 85+ families through our Christmas Giving Tree program. The Giving Tree will be put up in the narthex, with ornaments requesting gift cards on behalf of our social serivces clients. We have found over the past few years that gift cards work best and are actually preferred. THis gives clients the opportunity to shop for exactly what they want, and makes gift distribution within families fair. Even if oyu don't get a cvhance to pick up an ornament from the Giving Tree, we welcome your gift card donations and will match them with clients.

Gift Cards
We will be distributing gift cards to Walmart, Target, Price Chopper & Aldi. In order to ensure the equitable distribution of cards for individuals and families, we ask that they be provided in $25 increments. You don't have to get an ornament from the Giving Tree to donate--we will match cards with clients. Gift Cards should be delivered to the Legacy Center.(Please do not leave them in the Church)

Stocking Stuffers
In addition to gift cards, we provide our clients with stocking stuffer bags, filled with things like socks, lip balm, small hygiene items, & treats. In the past, we have asked for completed backs to be donated but this year we are asking for the individual items, which volunteers will sort and bag up for distribution. This insures that we have the appropriate number of bags, and that all bags for men, women and teens respectively are similar. Click below to see the items requested.

Groceries
Food pantry donations will help us provide for a nice holiday meal, and will sustain our families into the New Year. What should you donate? Think about the non-perishable items you enjoy for your own holiday meals! Donations can be left in the baskets in the Church or delivered to the Legacy Center.

Cash Donations
Are you pressed for time, or not sure what to give? Cash donations are always appreciated and will be used to purchase gift cards and groceries as needed. Donations can be made through our website (please use the line designated Social Services) or via check made out to Social Services.
