A Family Event in Memory of Dan Needham
Sunday, December 1
St. Peter’s School Garden Room (Cafeteria)
$25 per Wreath – Proceeds to Benefit St. Peter’s Social Services
Dan Needham (1960-2019), St. Peter’s parent, Director of Social Services and friend to all in the community shared with some that he had a special vision of a Family Wreath Making event for St. Peter’s Parish. Dan envisioned families gathered to prepare for the coming of Jesus while building their own Advent wreaths, listening to Christmas music and eating holiday treats. The Women of St. Peter’s Ministry will provide this event in memory of Dan.
Families are invited to sign up online to make their own Advent wreath (with real greenery!) to use as they wait and pray at home in hopeful anticipation for the birth of Jesus. The numbers of wreaths are limited so please sign up as soon as possible here.
Start your Advent Season by focusing on the special tradition of prayer and reflection around a unique wreath made by your own family. Thank you, Dan!
The next blood drive is Thursday, November 7, 2-7 p.m., in the Church Basement. Schedule your appointment here
or walk in. Local blood supplies are low; your donation could save a life.
Come enjoy this FREE family-friendly event from 5-8 p.m. this Saturday! Travel around the gym and explore the cultural diversity of St. Peter’s, featuring cultural music, food, dance and crafts, Passport & Scavenger Hunt Activities for kids, Junior High Choir performance, and more.
