Have You Heard About  Dynamic Parish?

Dynamic Parish is a new initiative we’ve started at St. Peter’s. We’re teaming up with Dynamic Catholic, an organization dedicated to re-energizing the Catholic Church, to focus on renewal, engagement, and growth, as individuals and as a community. Over the next five years, Dynamic Catholic will furnish St. Peter’s with resources, materials, and programs that will guide us in a deeper exploration of our faith. It’s an opportunity for us as a faith family to become a truly dynamic parish. St. Peter’s was one of only 61 parishes in the country chosen for this special program; we see a lot of potential and we’re excited to see how we’ll grow over the next five years.

St. Peter’s Parish

A vibrant Catholic church and school serving south core Kansas City for 90 years.

Our Mission

We of St. Peter’s Parish are a faith community who have as our model our Lord Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of his mission. We profess who we are by our shared belief and understanding of the Gospel. As people called to conversion, we come together to celebrate and bear witness to God’s redemptive activity in our lives. We live out this mission of Christ through prayer and worship and through our baptismal call, which challenges us to minister to and with others.
