Have You Heard About  Dynamic Parish?

Dynamic Parish is a new initiative we’ve started at St. Peter’s. We’re teaming up with Dynamic Catholic, an organization dedicated to re-energizing the Catholic Church, to focus on renewal, engagement, and growth, as individuals and as a community. Over the next five years, Dynamic Catholic will furnish St. Peter’s with resources, materials, and programs that will guide us in a deeper exploration of our faith. It’s an opportunity for us as a faith family to become a truly dynamic parish. St. Peter’s was one of only 61 parishes in the country chosen for this special program; we see a lot of potential and we’re excited to see how we’ll grow over the next five years.

Kicking Off With The Dream Event

What are your dreams for your life? For your family? For our parish? One of the most powerful and life-changing gifts that God has given to each of us is the power to dream. On Monday, December 2, 7 p.m., we will host our first-ever Dream Event, a fun, interactive look at the hopes we have for ourselves and for St. Peter’s. Join us! Registration is free and we expect a “sell out”, so please get your ticket here.

Christmas Sharing Program

As in past years, we wil be helping dozens of families enjoy Christmas. Beginning the weekend of Nov. 30-Dec. 1, look for the Giving Tree in the Narthex full of ornaments with names, sizes, gender and wishes listed on each ornament. Please take an ornament and either buy a gift or gift card for your person, attach it VERY WELL to the ornament, and return it to the back of the church or the Legacy Center by noon on Sunday, December 6. Thank you for your generosity!

Our Mission

We of St. Peter’s Parish are a faith community who have as our model our Lord Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of his mission. We profess who we are by our shared belief and understanding of the Gospel. As people called to conversion, we come together to celebrate and bear witness to God’s redemptive activity in our lives. We live out this mission of Christ through prayer and worship and through our baptismal call, which challenges us to minister to and with others.
