Knights of Columbus
Who are the Knights?
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.6 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.
About St. Peter’s Council
The St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus Council 13988 was founded in 2006 through efforts of parishioners, the parish council, and our staff. Our Council promotes various development and support activities for the parish, often hosting pancake breakfasts and other parish events which require excellent cooks and Grillzilla, our massive, movable grill.
Membership does have its privileges, including eligibility to join the Knights of Columbus life insurance program, school scholarship opportunities, and many more family and personal benefits.
Our Knights meet the third Wednesday of each month at 8 p.m. in the lower level of the Legacy Center (Parish Office – 815 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64131). Often members arrive early at 7:40 p.m. to pray the rosary before the meeting.
Parishioner Pete Hutchison is currently serving as our Grand Knight. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or (816) 665-0334.
