Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) – “The Renewal Weekend”

What is it?
“Christ Renews His Parish” is a 2-day, spiritual-renewal process. It is for EVERYONE, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey and regardless of the doubts you have about your Faith. The retreat is a time of reflection, prayer, and community.  It is led by a team of parishioners, all of whom have attended the retreat previously. Register online here or download and print out an informational brochure here.

What happens during the weekend?
You will enjoy the 30-hour Christ Renews His Parish weekend at St. Peter’s. The activities include group activities and discussions, prayer and sacraments, and reflections by fellow parishioners. You will not be asked to speak publicly or disclose private or personal information.

Where is the retreat weekend held and how long does it last? What about sleeping and eating?
The retreat is held on site at St. Peter’s. The weekend begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and will end by 4:00 p.m. Sunday. The sleeping accommodations are in the St Peter’s Hilton; they are a bit unique yet surprisingly comfortable (cots provided).  Hot, yummy meals are served.  There are regular breaks for coffee, soft drinks and snacks.

Do you want to support the women who are participating in Christ Renews His Parish?
There are many opportunities to do so! As the dates get closer, we’ll publish a SignUpGenius, so that you can sign up to bring meals for the retreatants, and/or come to the Legacy Center Chapel to offer prayer for them.
