We will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption, a holy day of obligation, with Mass at 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. There is also a noon Mass at St. Therese Little Flower.
Begins Thursday, September 6, 7 p.m.
Legacy Center Room 210 [20-week study]
The Acts of the Apostles provides us more than a history of the First Christians – it is the story about the Early Church with the Holy Spirit as the protagonist. Christ did not leave His Apostles alone – He sent the Holy Spirit to guide, instruct and equip them. Enrich and deepen your faith as you learn how the Apostles continued Christ’s mission on earth through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Workbook: $30. For more information or to register for the study, contact Mary Pfeifer at 816.363.2320 or email@example.com.
The Mass brings us out of the fallen world and into the heavenly realm. On Thursday mornings we will be walking through the Liturgy with Bishop Robert Barron to immerse ourselves in his insights on this most privileged and intimate encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. This new 7-week study on the Mass will begin on Sept 13, 9:30 a.m. in the Church basement. The cost of the study guide is $24. To assure study material will arrive on time, the deadline to register is August 30. To sign up or for questions contact Maria Gillcrist at firstname.lastname@example.org or 816.868.5318.
The Wild Goose Bible Study is ongoing, every Wednesday at 7 p.m. through September 5 in the Legacy Center, Room 210. Come any Wednesday evening to view a 30 minute video focused on learning more about The Holy Spirit and beautifully narrated by Fr. Dave Pivonka. Each evening is a different topic related to The Holy Spirit so it doesn’t matter if you jump in now or can only come once! If you have any questions, contact Sharon Mohler.
There will be no Adoration on Tuesday, August 7, due to the 10 a.m. funeral Mass for Fr. Joseph Sharbel’s mother, Mary Brashears.
