Learn About Charitable Giving Through an IRA Rollover

St. Peter’s is joining with Visitation and St. Elizabeth parishes to present a workshop on charitable giving through an IRA rollover on Saturday, October 27, 9-10 a.m. at St. Peter’s. Under the renewed (now permanent) legislation, donors who are age 70 ½ or older may make tax-free charitable gifts to their parish or other qualifying charities using funds from their IRAs. This can be an excellent way to give regardless of whether you itemize deductions or not. We encourage members 68 and older to join us. Our presenter will be Jim Hart, CPA, attorney and St. Elizabeth parishioner. For more information or to RSVP, contact Karen Conley in the parish office. or 816.800.0105.
